Eye Care In Home is a mobile optometry practice, we proudly serve the Richmond, Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach community. Depending on your location, we can work with you to serve a community closer to you! Although Williamsburg is known for being home to the world’s largest living history museum, Colonial Williamsburg, the area offers so much more to explore and experience. From bike riding to fishing, museums to live performances, amusement park rides to re-created civil war battles, there is so much to see and do. Enjoy your days off at top rated Busch Gardens or enjoy unique local restaurants and stores.
Practice Overview
Eye Care In Home is a medically based mobile optometry practice that operates on appointment-based cases; our patients use either medical insurance or self-pay. Our practice provides compassionate care for patients who are unable to transport to an office. By being a mobile practice, it allows us to be flexible with schedules and spend more quality time with each patient. We provide a technician to assist in the transportation and care of each visit. Because we are the only mobile practice in the area, professional growth opportunities are endless. What You’ll Be Working On
- Provide professional, friendly, efficient, and exceptional client service at all times
- Utilize state-of-the art mobile equipment such as a handheld retinal camera and autorefractor to perform comprehensive medical eye exams
- Fit patients in customized glasses when indicated and receive commission for purchases
- Efficiently work with an EHR that includes e-faxing, e-prescribing, exam template, and more.

Qualifications:
- Be licensed as an optometrist in the state of Virginia
- Highly motivated, with a desire to be amazing
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to work independently
